This July the NSPCC and Wynsors are creating giant 3D sand art at Filey Beach, Yorkshire.  ‘Footprints in the sands of time’ will feature sand drawings of gigantic footsteps by world famous sand artist, Jamie Wardley.

Footprints in Sand

Why?

The NSPCC are calling on the public to leave a lasting legacy through a gift in their will, helping to protect future generations of children. The idea is to encourage more people to follow in the footsteps of past and current legacy givers by donating to the NSPCC.

As a result a series of six footprints will be created to represent the 1 in 6 children who are helped through the NSPCC’s direct services each year thanks to legacy gifting.

What’s Legacy Gifting?

You can use your will to help secure a better future for vulnerable children.

You may feel that once you’ve made provision for the people you love, there will be nothing left of value. But in fact, a small percentage of what’s left after you’ve made your gifts to your loved ones can go a long way to help protect children.

It means that the NSPCC can give children the help they need – recovering from abuse, or preventing it from ever happening.

The Footprints in the sands of time campaign is being produced to encourage as many people as possible to follow in the footsteps of past and current legacy givers by donating to the NSPCC. Just a small gift in your will can change a child’s life.
